When can we say that there is a movement in a particular area?
1. Prayer movements. Not just prayer activities but concerted prayer and fasting, brought about by a sense of desperation for Christ.
2. Transformed lives. Not just a change of behavior, but of heart. A sense of brokenness and God-dependence. Living out the Beatitudes.
3. Transformed society. That as people are being changed, the society around them is affected as well. Caring for others especially the needy, drop in corruption and crime are some of the possible ways society is affected.
4. Manifestation of God's glory and power. That things are happening that only can be explained as a work of God. We can create an environment for spiritual movements, but only Jesus can make it happen.
5. Spiritual multiplication. At least four (4) generations of disciples as exemplified by Paul in 2Tim. 2:2. Paul, who is discipling Timothy, who is discipling faithful men who are discipling others.
This Movement consistently follow four (4) phases of movement progression
1. Penetration
Create an environment of prayer
Staff model lifestyle and standards for ministry
Filtering and developing initial key disciples
Building relationship with "door openers"
2. Concentration
Prayer movement
Focus on consolidating and developing spiritual multipliers
Transition from staff- directed to student- led
Increasing scope of target area
Personal Biblical Conviction (Biblical- based)
3. Saturation
Prayer movements everywhere
Entirely student- led
Enough movers and multipliers to reach every student with the gospel (1% of the population)
100% exposed to the gospel- every student heard a relevant gospel presentation
Ready to expand beyond campus
4. Continuation
Strong spiritual multiplication with 5 generation of disciples
Continually producing CCC staff and workers
Expansion led by students
Sustained leadership
Lifetime commitment to God and the Great Commission
